100% Petit Verdot. Aged for 18-20 months in French and American oak barrels.
The Petit Verdot grape is thin skinned with tiny, loose berries which allow it to yield dark, deep jewel tone colors similar to those of Bordeaux. Petit Verdot produces a wine that is silky smooth with low tannins but exotic, earthy flavors like wild violets and tobacco. Other flavors reminiscent of dark fruits like blueberry and currant are prevalent too.
